BUZZARDS BAY – The Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber has announced the release of their annual Christmas ornament named “Canal Sunset”, hand-blown by master glassblower Michael Magyar of The Glass Studio on Cape Cod in Sandwich.
The ornament is a swirl of sunset colors resembling a conch shell in its shape.
Each ornament is etched with “2017” and individually numbered.
A limited edition of 300 ornaments will be produced and the cost is $35.
Along with the Holiday Ornament is the annual hand blown Cape Cod Canal Christmas Candy Cane made up of a twist of the same shades displayed in the anniversary ornament.
The cost for that ornament is $15.
The collectible ornaments can be purchased at the Chamber Business Office in Buzzards Bay, Rockland Trust in Bourne, The Glass Studio on Cape Cod, The Dan’l Webster Inn & Spa, The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod, and Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.
It’s also available at Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank and Rockland Trust in Wareham.
2016 Christmas ornaments, hand-blown by master glassblower Michael Magyar are also available for purchase while supplies last.
Cost is $10 each and can be purchased at the Cape Cod Canal Region Chamber of Commerce in Buzzards Bay or The Glass Studio on Cape Cod in Sandwich.
