Cape Cod Chamber Holding J-1 Visa Forum

HARWICH – The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a J-1 Employer and Community Forum in Harwich on Tuesday.

The free event seeks to gather employers, community leaders, and those interested in learning more about the summer work travel program.

Attendees will hear from J-1 visa sponsors and some of the employers who have hired the workers in the past.

Each year, the Cape gets roughly 3,000 J-1 recipients, who work for a maximum of four months and have up to one month to travel around the United States.

The forum is scheduled for the Harwich Community Center on April 17 from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Registration is available online at www.capeislandsj12018.eventbrite.com.
