Cape Cod Child Development Cutting School

WAREHAM – Cape Cod Child Development has announced that it will close its Sandwich Road Preschool in Wareham, it was formerly known as the ABC learning Center, the last day of operations will be October 26^th.

The move is being cited as a streamlining effort, the organization’s Head Start Program in Onset will continue to operate. Over the next month CCCDP staff will assist the 19 families affected by the closure transition their children to other area preschools.

“Our preschool programs are vital for the families who rely on them so we want to ensure the change is as smooth as possible for everyone involved,” said Interim Agency Director Nancy Sorbo.

Sorbo also said that staff from the Sandwich Road Preschool will be offered alternative positions at other CCCDP locations in the region. The organization has 14 preschool locations in the region and serves over 350 children.
