HYANNIS – It may be summer but Cape Cod Child Development is already thinking about the upcoming school year.

The organization is holding its pre-school enrollment week, which starts on Monday.

Staff will be available all week to answer questions and help families enroll on the phone or at one of the centers.

“We are very excited to have many, many openings across all of our sites on the Cape this year,” said CEO Anne Colwell. “We’re looking forward to a big enrollment year.”

They will be accepting enrollment for children ages 2.9 to 5 years old in pre-school.

This fall, Cape Cod Child Development is opening its first private pay pre-school classroom open to all families in Centerville.

They are also opening a new Head Start pre-school program for low-income families on Nantucket.

“Cape Cod Child Development is one of the largest non-profit agencies on the Cape and we certainly are the largest provider of early education and care for children ages 0-12,” said Colwell.
