Cape Cod Commission Holds Hearing on Hyannis Courtyard Marriott Expansion

BARNSTABLE – The Cape Cod Commission is holding a public hearing on October 12 regarding the proposed expansion of the Hyannis Courtyard Marriott Hotel.

Plans include adding a 31,000 square foot, two-story addition to the existing hotel, which will add 50 additional hotel rooms.

The project also includes changes to the front parking area, new landscaping, amenities and site improvements.

If approved by the Commission, planners will then be able to proceed with local permitting for the project.

The hearing will be held at 3 p.m. in the First District Courthouse on Main Street in Barnstable.
