Cape Cod Community College Offers Belize Trip

WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod Community College is inviting local residents to study abroad in Belize next spring.

The college is partnering with Education First College Study Tours to offer the eight-day trip from May 25 through June 1.

Guests will explore biodiversity in the country, and become familiar with the managed reserves which make up a quarter of Belize.

During the trip, attendees will also visit and hike through the Belizean jungle, swim in St. Herman’s Blue Hole, bird watch, travel to Punta Gorda to visit the Mayan archaeological site of Nim Li Punit, snorkel in Placencia, and get introduced to the reef ecosystem.

The trip costs $3,355 per person and includes all aspects of travel, hotels, meals, entrance tickets, train, tour guides and insurance.

As an incentive to register early, anybody who enrolls before September 30 is eligible for a $200 scholarship.
