WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod Community College Professor Nancy J. Willets is a recipient of the 2017 Eastern Communication Association (ECA) “Distinguished Teaching Fellows” recognition.
Awards were given on March 31 at a ceremony during the 108th annual convention in Boston.
The teaching fellows program recognizes a distinguished career of teaching excellence in the field of communication and is limited to colleagues who have active and ongoing service to ECA.
It is also the highest teaching honor given by the ECA.
“Our students’ greatest resource here are the highly skilled and very knowledgeable faculty who are deeply committed to their success,” said College President John Cox. “Professor Willets’ recognition also shows how committed our faculty are to excellence in their own disciplines. I am proud to congratulate Nancy on such honors by her Association and peers.”
Willets is a Past President of the ECA, and her work has been repeatedly honored by the Association.
