Cape Cod Council of Churches Hosts Benefit Fundraiser on August 13

FoodBARNSTABLE – The Cape Cod Council of Churches is holding a benefit on August 13 at a private family farm overlooking Barnstable Harbor.

The event will celebrate and raise funds for the work of the Cape Cod Council of Churches.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. and will feature a farm-to-table themed dinner that is served under a tent in a field.

The event includes live music, a silent auction, and flowers grown and gathered on site.

The program will highlight the intergenerational work of the Council and will honor Dr. T. Berry Brazelton.

Brazelton has advocated for the Family and Medical Leave Act and played a pivotal role in extending the rights and protections of the individuals with the Disabilities Education Act to young children.

For over 50 years, the Council has helped serve over 6,500 individuals annually through seven different programs and serves people of all ages and religious affiliations.
