Cape Cod Environmental Advocacy Group Moves to Dennis

Dennis Town SealDENNIS – The Association to Preserve Cape Cod has announced the acquisition of a property in Dennis to serve as the organization’s new, and permanent home.

The nonprofit environmental advocacy and education organization has moved to the 1.38 acre plot located at 482 Main St. in Dennis Village.

“The move allows APCC to function both more economically and environmentally friendly,” said Ed DeWitt, APCC’s executive director. “The move also allows APCC to better share with all of our neighbors what APCC has learned in its 48-year history to minimize human impact upon the fragile peninsula we all love and share.”

Staff has already into the new headquarters, and the organization is also planning to develop the property, which will enhance the use of the land and open the space for meetings and other educational activities.
