Cape Cod Five Remains Leader in Market

ORLEANS – Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank remains the deposit market share leader in Barnstable County and has also seen growth in other markets in which the bank operates. That information comes from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Deposit growth has occurred for the bank in Barnstable County, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard and Wareham.

“As a mutual community bank with no outside shareholders, deposit growth is the most important way that Cape Cod 5 is able to ensure the financial strength necessary to contribute its mission of serving as our customers’ trusted financial partner,” said President and CEO of Cape Cod 5 Dorothy Savarese.

The bank has over $3.3 billion in assets.
