Cape Cod Foundation Receives $90,000 in Capital Grants

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Cape Cod Foundation received $90,000 from a private charity earlier this year to support Massachusetts-based nonprofit organizations.

That money has been passed along to 11 nonprofits addressing hunger and homelessness.

The foundation contacted many different organizations with a broad impact on the region and awarded the following organizations with up to $10,000 for capital projects and purchases:

-Cape Cod Council of Churches

-Cape Cod Military Support Foundation

-Catholic Social Services of Fall River for St. Joseph’s Shelter in Hyannis

-Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod

-Champ Homes

-The Family Pantry of Cape Cod

-Homeless Prevention Council

-Housing Assistance Corporation

-Independence House

-Lower Cape Outreach Council

-The Salvation Army in Hyannis
