Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation Receives $12,500 From Subaru

SubaruBOURNE – A nationwide funding campaign around the holiday season led to a $12,500 donation to the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation last week.

Subaru dealers across the country held their annual “Share the Love” campaign, which donates money to local and national charities when a customer purchases or leases a new car. Cape Cod Healthcare was this year’s designated local charity.

“We’ve been encouraging clients to do a local charity,” said Levon Semerjian, the President of Atlantic Subaru in Bourne. “They took a special interest in Cape Cod Healthcare, it’s a local community foundation that has a great cause, and we also believe in it. With a little bit of cooperation with the both of us, we were able to get it together.”

Customers had the opportunity to have Subaru pledge up to $250 per purchase or lease. Most customers chose for that money to stay local, according to Semerjian

“The funds raised during this campaign will help us continue to bring top-notch healthcare services, technology, and providers to Cape Cod,” said Kevin Ralph, the Chief Development Officer for the Cape Cod Healthcare Foundation.

The money was donated in a ceremony in Bourne last week.
