HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Medical Reserve Corps will be holding its 2nd annual Well Baby Fair Saturday at the Hyannis Youth and Community Center, located at 141 Bassett Lane.
The fair will include information on a variety of topics including nutrition, breast-feeding, maternal depression, immunization, safety, play and development, the WIC program, among many others. Additionally, there will be a care safety seat checkpoint and infant CPR training.
“It’s particularly aimed at new parents or grandparents, or anyone interested in child care education,” said Diana Gaumond, Director of Cape Cod Medical Reserve Corps.
“If there’s anyone who’s had a baby or planning to have a baby and just has any questions at all, hopefully we can answer those questions,” she said.
Just in time for flu season, adults will be able to get their flu shots while at the fair, and a raffle will also be held and will benefit Cape Cod Children’s Place.
The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and admission is free.
