BREWSTER – KidSummer-Cape Cod’s Nature Place summer program instills a sense of wonder and discovery to last a lifetime.

The group offers a range of programs for kids ages 3 to 15, encouraging learning and appreciation of the environment through age-appropriate, STEM-based curriculum and indoor/outdoor activities led by educators and naturalists.

Nature walks, field study, and habitat exploration give children a Cape Cod summer experience.

The museum’s campus is surrounded by 400 acres of marsh, dune, barrier beach, woodlands, alewife stream, and wildflower gardens.

The Astronomy Program taught by Harwich Elementary School Technology teacher Larry Brookhart runs July 6 through July 10 and is for ages 10 to 13.

The summer sessions include daytime observation of sun spots, playing astronomical games, preparing equipment for evening viewing and learning how to use astronomer’s tools to gather information on celestial objects.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy will offer activities for children ages 7 to 9 through a Shark Week Summer Program.

This one-week program will introduce children to shark biology through hands-on activities, outdoor experiences, and traditional camp games altered to be shark-themed.

KidSummer nature program is sponsored by the International Fund for Animal Welfare.
