On March 2nd, participants will discuss and learn through photographs and discussion various habitats including the sea to the beaches, to the woodlands, marshes and ponds, of birds on Cape Cod.

On March 9th, attendees will gain an understanding of which field marks to look for in different families of birds.

Streaked breast or plain breast? Wing bars or no wing bars? Leg color? Yes, leg color.

How are males and females different? Does the bird have a distinctive crown or eye stripe? They’ll finish the class with a field trip to put their lessons to the test.

The cost is $10 per person per class and space is limited.
