EASTHAM – On June 21 at 7 p.m. at the Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham, join Jim Owens for a slideshow presentation of historic Eastham.
The program will include Jim’s large collection of photos as Eastham has grown throughout the years, including results of winter storms.
As a native of Eastham, Jim attended the old elementary school in second and third grade.
He taught art at Nauset High School for 26 years and is a past president of the Eastham Historical Society, collecting old photos and stories of the town for years.
The upcoming program is part of the annual “Tuesday Evening Series” at the Salt Pond Visitor Center.
Held weekly at 7 p.m., the programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources of the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages.
Programs are free and the series is sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
