EASTHAM – Join storyteller Rona Leventhal and her large bag of multi-cultural stories for a journey around the world on August 15 at 7 pm at Salt Pond Visitor Center in Eastham.

For 26 years Leventhal has put smiles in the hearts of thousands of listeners.

Her family-friendly stories, shared with exuberant and dynamic style, will have you dancing, swaying in your seats, making funny noises, singing, and laughing.

From the stage of the National Storytelling Network conference, to festivals, schools, and libraries around the world, Rona shares the power of the spoken word through performances, teaching, school residencies, organizational programs, and coaching.

She is coeditor of the book “Spinning Tales, Weaving Hope: Stories of Peace, Justice and the Environment.”

The program is part of the weekly “Tuesday Nights at Salt Pond” series.

Held weekly in July and August at 7 pm in the air-cooled comfort of the visitor center auditorium, programs focus on the diverse natural and cultural resources on the Outer Cape and are suitable for all ages.

Programs are free of charge and accessible. The series is sponsored by Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
