BOSTON – A Cape Cod blogger who works to spread a message of positivity has been honored by Beacon Hill lawmakers.
Jonathan “J.T.” Thompson was recognized as part of “Black Excellence on the Hill” this week.
“J.T.’s dedication to spreading a message of ‘one love, one family, and one community’ is a testament to his character and his love for his hometown,” said Centerville State Representative Will Crocker, who nominated Thompson for the award.
“J.T. starts every day with a positive outlook and a smile on his face and this message has truly resonated with the community as his following has grown,” Crocker said after the ceremony.
Thompson runs the blog site “JT’s Chronicles.”
Black Excellence on the Hill Day is a celebration of black culture, excellence, and achievement in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The event was organized by the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus.
