CENTERVILLE – The Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce has published this year’s Cape Cod Travel Guide magazine.

The widely-distributed publication features 136 pages of Cape-related articles, photographs, destination and cultural guides.

Chamber CEO Wendy Northcross said the guide typically takes all year to put together.

“We have staff on the road that consistently report back in and say, ‘oh, don’t forget about this new restaurant, new option, or new attraction,’” Northcross said.

The guide will touch on new Cape brands, adventure travel activities and motion pictures with a Cape theme, like Disney’s “The Finest Hours.”

This year’s magazine cover features a sailboat cruising on the waters near Provincetown, with the Pilgrim Monument in full view.

Northcross said the chamber’s market research informs their cover photo decisions.

Last year, the travel guide featured a lighthouse on the cover, after Northcross said her research showed it would increase purchases.

The guide will be seen throughout the spring and summer inside various locations around the country and in seven other nations.
