ORLEANS – Cape Cod Village has hired a Dennis woman as its first executive director.
Susan Johnson will lead the organization, which provides housing and services for adults with autism.
She has served as a board member of the organization and has held executive director positions with the Harwich Ecumenical Council for the Homeless and the Home Builders and Remodelers Association.
“We were incredibly fortunate to have someone with Susan’s caliber of talent and leadership skills already serving our organization. From the time she joined our board in 2016, she fully-embraced our mission,” said Robert Jones, the president of Cape Cod Village. “When the time came to structure a leadership position for our organization, Susan’s background in housing, fundraising, and proven ability to lead made her the perfect fit.”
Johnson begins her new role immediately.
Cape Cod Village expects to break ground on its innovative housing model in the spring of 2018, with hopes of completing construction by the spring of 2019.
