MASHPEE – Cape Cod’s first licensed medical marijuana dispensary on Cape Cod opened Thursday.
Triple M announced on Friday that the Massachusetts Department of Public Health approved Triple M to commence marijuana for medical use sales to registered qualifying patients and personal caregivers at Triple M’s Mashpee Dispensary located at 29 Echo Road.
Initially, the dispensary will be open for sales on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
Triple M plans to expand the days of the week for the Mashpee Dispensary to Monday through Saturday, similar to its Plymouth location, once Triple M has assessed patient needs.
“I would like to thank the Town of Mashpee and the Massachusetts Department of Public Health for their assistance during the approval process,” said Triple M Board Member and Community Liaison James Vaccaro. in a statement.
“As a Mashpee resident, I am pleased that Triple M will be the first licensed medical marijuana dispensary on Cape Cod, and we look forward to serving the needs of local registered medical marijuana patients and caregivers,” he said.
Triple M said all of its products are grown and processed in its facility in Plymouth and undergo stringent external laboratory testing to ensure the highest quality standards are constantly met.
