HYANNIS – The Cape Flyer train service from South Station to Hyannis kicked off its 2014 season last night.
This is the second year for the seasonal route.
Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority Director Thomas Cahir said they are getting a lot of interest about the Cape Flyer via the Internet, and that leads officials to believe the service will be very successful this weekend.
The Cape Flyer will run through Monday for the holiday weekend with the first train departing South Station this evening.
