Cape Light Compact Extends Energy Education Program

SOUTH YARMOUTH – The Cape Light Compact has announced that they are extending their energy education offerings to local families and teachers during the coronavirus pandemic.

The initial program was launched last month, as Governor Charlie Baker announced that schools would be closed.

As Baker has extended those closures through the end of the school year, Cape Light Compact has followed to ensure that students receive enough material for eight more weeks.

The lessons, which are aligned with the educational standards of the state, teach students about energy consumption, production, preservation, and more.
