CAPE COD- The Cape Light Compact is partnering with local appliance stores here on Cape Cod to hold three dehumidifier turn-in events this month.
The events allow residential electric customers on Cape Cod the ability to receive a $30 rebate per unit turned in for recycling.
To take advantage of this limited-time program, customers must bring an old, working dehumidifier to one of the three events [listed below], leave the dehumidifier with event staff to recycle, and obtain a rebate form from event staff.
Participants will receive a $30 VISA® prepaid card in the mail approximately four to six weeks after the rebate form is submitted.

The Compact is also accepting room air conditioners at each of these events; however no rebate is available for these.
