Cape Light Compact Proposes Update

BARNSTABLE – A hearing tonight in Mashpee will focus on a proposed update to the Cape Light Compact’s Founding Plan.

The hearing will be held by the state’s Department of Public Utilities.

The agency has asked for an update to the Compact’s aggregation plan due to changes in how the company has been operating since the original plan was approved in 2000.

The meeting will take place tonight at the Mashpee Public Library at 6 pm.
