Cape Light Compact to Go 100 Percent Renewable

BARNSTABLE – The organization which provides energy efficiency services to around 200,000 customers on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard will this week announce its plans to go 100 percent renewable.

The Cape Light Compact will hold a meeting in Barnstable Wednesday detailing their plans to match customers in its aggregation power supply program with renewable energy certificates and how this will be accomplished.

The press conference will be held at the OpenCape building within the Barnstable County Complex.

It will also touch on climate change and residential electricity supply rates.
