Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled Seeking Volunteers

HYANNIS – The Cape Organization for Rights of the Disabled (CORD) is currently looking for volunteer mentors for its Bridges to Success program.

This effort helps young adults aged 17-26 with learning or intellectual disabilities enter the work force.

Volunteers work with CORD participants to build certain skills, including resume building, techniques on interviewing, job searching tips, how to follow up with questions, and self-avocation. Volunteers would aid these young adults on finding opportunities that align with their interests and availability.

For more information on volunteering, please contact Program Coordinator Tina Games at (508)-775-8300, ext. 17, or email [email protected].
