Cape Symphony and Conservatory Hires New Director of Community Outreach

HYANNIS – The Cape Symphony & Conservatory has announced the hiring of a new Director of Community Outreach and Education for both organizations.

The organization hired Kyle Spraker, the Principal Trumpet for Cape Symphony and a Teaching Artist for brass and woodwind instruments at the Conservatory and Nantucket Music Center.

“Kyle is an extraordinarily skillful performer and highly relatable teacher. He has already made such a positive impact for both organizations, and we are confident that he will be able to expand the reach of the quality programming offered by the Cape Symphony & Conservatory,” said Executive Director of the Cape Conservatory, Stephanie Weaver.

The goal of Director of Community Outreach and Education is to increase participation and access to exceptional musical and artistic experiences across the Cape and Islands through a variety of high-quality outreach and educational activities sponsored by the Symphony and Conservatory.

As Director, Spraker will coordinate all Cape Symphony educational concerts. He’ll also coordinate and oversee the Music Memory event in May.
