HYANNIS-  The 2018 JFK Hyannis Museum ‘Founders Community Leadership Award’ will be presented to Artistic Director & Conductor of the Cape Cod Symphony Orchestra, Jung-Ho Pak.

“This is our 4th year of having this award luncheon and it recognizes individuals, or organizations who have really demonstrated initiative, impact, and inspiration of others on Cape Cod, and have made a difference to the quality of life and activities in our Cape Cod area,” said John Allen, JFK Museum Executive Director.

Pak will receive the award at the annual Founders Community Leadership Award Luncheon on June 13th at the Hyannisport Club where Eileen McNamara, Pulitzer Prize-winning former Boston Globe columnist and author of “Eunice: The Kennedy Who Changed the World” will be the keynote speaker.

“Certainty the Cape following his work and his range of special concerts, the passion that he puts into his work, his personality, and also his real commitment to the education of music to the young people on the Cape led to his nomination,” said Allen.

“I think we have a richer cultural community because of the Cape Symphony and Pak’s leadership.”

Admission for the luncheon is $60, which will also include an autographed copy of McNamara’s book.

The main event will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at the Hyannisport Club in Hyannis Port.

Tickets can be purchased by contacting, JFK Hyannis Museum’s Director of Programs and Operations Jennifer Pappalardo at [email protected] or by calling 508-790-3077 ext. 3
