Cape Symphony to Perform Beatles Tribute Concert

HYANNIS – Residents and visitors on the Cape will have an opportunity this weekend to find out what it would have sounded like if the Beatles performed live in concert with a symphony orchestra.

On Saturday, June 16 the Cape Symphony will take the stage for the Beatle’s Tribute Concert.

The four musicians in the Classical Mystery Tour, who look and sound just like the Beatles, will join the symphony for two performances at 3 and 7:30 p.m.

The concert will recreate some of the Beatles’ orchestra-based songs as well as their other legendary hits throughout the 1960s.

Artistic Director and Conductor of the Cape Symphony Jung-Ho Pak says hearing songs like “All You Need is Love” and “A Day in the Life” with a live orchestra is a thrilling experience.

More than two dozen Beatles tunes will be performed during the shows.

Tickets are between $32 and $71 and can be ordered online at capesymphony.org or by calling the box office.
