Cape Women’s Group Urges More Civic Involvement

HYANNIS – The Cape Women’s Coalition is hosting an event Thursday night to educate and inspire women interested in getting more involved in civic engagement.

“Moving from Marching to Action” will feature presentations from local women’s organizations on events and advocacy being planned and how others can get involved.

The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hyannis Golf Club.

Participating organizations include the League of Women Voters and the Cape Cod and Islands Commission on the Status of Women.

Presentations will be followed by a cocktail hour and networking.
