WAREHAM – The CapeFLYER and the Cape Cod Baseball League are partnering to offer a special All-Star Game package.

For $25, customers can purchase a roundtrip train ride to Wareham and a ticket to the game on Saturday, July 22 at Clem Spillane Field.

“The Cape Cod Baseball League All-Star Game is a chance to see the future major league all-stars before they become famous,” said Tom Cahir, the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority Administrator.

“Take the train, enjoy the day by the ocean and then see the next Chris Sale, Jackie Bradley Jr or Buster Posey up close and personal in a classic baseball setting. After that, let the train take you home.”

All-Star Game events begin at 2 p.m. and include a home run derby and hitting contests. The game starts at 6 p.m.

The CapeFLYER will run on a special schedule that evening to accommodate fans attending the game. The train will leave Hyannis at 7:25 p.m. and arrive in Wareham around 8:35 p.m. to take passengers back to the greater-Boston area.

For tickets, contact Kathy Jensen at [email protected] or 508-775-8504 extension 249.
