HYANNIS – The new short-term rental tax will be the focus of a public informational session next week in Hyannis.
The free event is Tuesday, April 23 at CapeSpace on Independence Drive from 6 to 8 p.m.
Cape & Islands Association of Realtors CEO Ryan Castle will discuss how the new tax will impact homeowners and renters on Cape Cod and ways they can adapt to the changing vacation rental market.
Down the Cape Concierge owner Anthony Collito will also offer options for renters to stay competitive, including simple, inexpensive and effective ways to create one-of-a-kind experiences for vacation properties.
The event will include refreshments and giveaways.
