CENTERVILLE – Barnstable Police responded to Falmouth Road in Centerville early Saturday morning after a car struck a utility pole and rolled over at Van Gogh Drive.
“The pole snapped in two,” said Sgt. Mark Cabral. “The vehicle rolled over at least once.”
The incident occurred at 12:55 a.m.
Police issued a citation to the driver, a 20-year-old Hyannis man, for operating to endanger.
The driver suffered minor injuries and was treated and released from Cape Cod Hospital.
Repair crews finished replacing the pole just after 11 a.m.
