HYANNIS – Members of Catholic Social Services updates Barnstable Town Council recently on the transition of operations from the Noah Homeless Shelter.

The group took ownership of the facility from Housing Assistance Corporation last month and has re-named the building St. Joseph’s House.

CSS officials say that they are currently at capacity and anticipate another month of transition while preparing for the challenges that winter brings.

They also added that a number of residents have moved to permanent housing.
