HYANNIS – The Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority is adding holiday service on Presidents’ Day and Patriots’ Day.
The authority will run permanent fixed route service operating on a Saturday schedule for the two holidays on February 19 and April 16.
The service has been implemented during the off-season holidays to help year-round riders who are still required to work on the government holidays.
“Many of our wonderful customers do not have the luxury of a day off during these two state holidays,” said Tom Cahir, the CCRTA administrator. “I am happy that we are able to identify the necessary resources in order to provide this additional service.”
