Cape Cod Young Professionals Announces Giving Circle Awards

WEST YARMOUTH – The Cape Cod Young Professionals organization has announced $10,000 in charitable contributions to five local organizations.

The donations were made through CCYP’s Giving Circle Fund of The Cape Cod Foundation to area non-profit programs and projects serving the needs of young professionals living on the Cape.

2017’s grant recipients include Cape Cod Child Development – to support training and mentoring for Family Child Care Providers. Cape Cod Children’s Place – to subsidize the cost of early education and care for working families.

The community Development Partnership received funding to support the new Community Housing Partnership, supporting the region’s affordable housing needs. Housing Assistance Corporation obtained a grant to offset the cost of free Consumer Education Center Classes, helping participants manage a budget and build credit.

Finally, We Care’s GROW Program – Get Results with Others Wisdom – received support to continue a professionally-lead learning and sharing group for women in business.

Members of CCYP’s giving circle aim to award grants to support organizations who promote career and professional development, accessible housing, civic engagement, and youth causes.
