HYANNIS – Cape Cod Young Professionals hosted its inaugural “Shape Your Cape Summit” on Thursday at the Resort and Conference Center in Hyannis.
The event featured interactive workshops and panel discussions that tackled personal growth, professional growth and community involvement.
“These our young professionals who are on the panels, who are doing the keynote, who are emceeing this event,” said CCYP Executive Director Anne Van Vleck. “This is the future of Cape Cod.”
Over 300 people attended the summit, which was presented by Cape Cod Five, Cape Cod Healthcare and The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod.
The aim of the event was to empower young professionals personally and philanthropically.
The event also included a number of speakers who addressed topics like health and wellness, housing and personal finance and career development.
“We want people to walk away and feel that they’ve learned something that they now can take an action step to improve their lives,” said Van Vleck.
