CCYP Hosts 11th Annual Back to Business Bash

HYANNIS –Cape Cod Young Professionals (CCYP) held their 11th Annual Back to Business Bash on Thursday night at Barnstable Municipal Airport.

The networking opportunity draws more than 900 attendees each year with proceeds going to support CCYP.

New Executive Director Lauren Barker also attended the event.

She officially takes over the reins of the CCYP on October 9th, replacing Anne Van Vleck.

“I’m just excited to be here, get a chance to meet everyone,” said Barker. “Everyone’s been great, had lots of information to share with me and I look forward to meeting more people.”

The former municipal official from Texas was pleased with her first experience at the Bash.

“It’s a great cross section of the community, a lot of people here that clearly support the organization and what it’s trying to do, a lot of opportunities to meet and network and I just think it’s a great organization and great event all-around,” said Barker.

This year’s event was sponsored by the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank.
