EASTHAM – Nominations are being sought by the Community Development Partnership for two annual awards.
The “Gwen Pelletier Award for Excellence in Community Service” honors individuals, organizations or businesses who help maintain the Lower Cape’s economic diversity. Pelletier was the CDP’s executive director for many years.
The “Norm Edinberg Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship” recognizes an established Lower Cape business owner who has used the organization’s services as well as having demonstrated social responsibility or environmental concern, made financial contributions or volunteered their time.
The business must be located in Harwich, Chatham, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham, Wellfleet, Truro, or Provincetown. It also has to have been in existence for at least five years and have three or more full time employees, including the owner.
Nominations are due by Friday February 23rd.
The awards will be presented on March 29th at the CDP’s 27th annual meeting.
