Lower Cape Nonprofit Receives Grant For Social Service Programs

EASTHAM – The Community Development Partnership was awarded $20,000 by the Mary-Louise and Ruth N. Eddy Foundation this week.

The money will be utilized to benefit resident services programs in partnership with the Homeless Prevention Council.

CDP will be connecting residents with resources such as childcare, employment, education, and healthcare.

Specifically, funds will support residents of the Canal House, the CDP’s sober living residence based in Orleans that has served nearly 150 people since 1998.

The Eddy Foundation has been a consistent supporter of the CDP; they have given the organization almost $275,000 since 2008.
