COTUIT – The Chandler Travis Philharmonic returns to Cotuit Center for the Arts later this month.
The Boston-based Philharmonic has a sound that can’t be pigeon-holed, it’s been called alternative Dixieland, omnipop, and gospel music for agnostics.
The nine-piece ensemble includes a horn section, string bass, keyboard, mandocello, guitar, drums, accordion, and a singing valet.
Chandler Travis has worked with Elvis Costello, Green Day, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, John Cale, Bonnie Raitt, the Beach Boys, Allen Ginsburg, the Replacements, George Carlin, Of Montreal, and more.
The show will take place at the Cotuit Center for the Arts on Friday, December 29, at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $30, $28 for seniors and veterans, and $25 for members. Premium tables with wine are available.
