Chatham Coast Guard Auxiliary Accepting Applications for Boating Safety Courses

CHATHAM – Applications are being accepted for the Chatham Coast Guard Auxiliary’s annual Boating Safety and Seamanship courses.

Certified Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors will provide an overview of navigation rules, legal requirements, safe operations and how to handle emergencies.

The one-day classes are June 2 and July 7 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Chatham Community Center.

Registration is $35 for adults and $15 for juniors ages 12 to 17.
