Chatham Marconi Center to host Solar-Eclipse Viewing Program

CHATHAM – The Chatham Marconi Maritime Center is hosting a solar-eclipse viewing program on Monday, August 21.

Larry Brookhart, director of the Harwich Observatory, will conduct a short presentation about the eclipse and lead a discussion on how to safely observe it, followed by viewing through specialized equipment.

The equipment includes a solar scope and filter-equipped astro-binoculars.

The program runs from 12:30-3:30 p.m.

Admission is $25 per family or free for CMMC supporting members.
