Chatham Officials Will Not Challenge FAA Over Skydiving

parachute02CHATHAM – Town officials in Chatham will not challenge a Federal Aviation Administration ruling allowing skydiving to take place at the Chatham Municipal Airport.

The town had previously decided against renewing the contract of Skydive Cape Cod, citing safety and noise concerns, but the owner successfully appealed to the FAA.

It is unclear when skydiving will return to the airport.
