CHATHAM – Chatham’s sewer construction contractor is scheduled to continue work this week with three crews, weather permitting.
One crew will continue work on The Cornfield, then moving to Inlet Road. A second crew will work on Oyster Bluff before heading to Absegami Run and a drainage installation crew will work on Inlet Road before moving to Oyster Pond Furlong.
Scheduled work next week includes one crew on Inlet Road, a second on Absegami Run and the drainage crew on Oyster Pond Furlong.
As always, schedules are subject to change due to weather.
Motorists will be helped navigating the sites by signage and police and affected roads will be open nights, weekends and holidays.
Normal work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with work extending to 7 p.m. for special circumstances.
