Chatham Sewer Work Continues

CHATHAM – Weather permitting, sewer construction in Chatham will continue next week, with multiple crews working simultaneously. 

One crew will continue work on Inlet Road, another will remain at Absegami Run, while a third will work on drainage installation on Oyster Pond Furlong toward the end of the week. 

The contractor will also be at various locations performing testing, raising castings, installing inverts and general cleanup. 

Scheduled work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with special circumstances extending them until 7:00. 

Affected roads will be open to all traffic nights, weekends and holidays. 

Motorists who need assistance getting to their destination will be aided by signage and police details.
