Chatham Sewer Work to Affect Traffic on Old Queen Anne Road

CHATHAM – Starting today, crews are working on the Chatham sewer construction project on Old Queen Anne Road.

The construction area encompasses Chickadee Lane in Harwich to the area of Fisherman’s Access.

The roadway is open with alternating traffic during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The phase of construction is expected to last one week.

The location is just outside of the detour area of Church Street in Harwich where sewer construction work is ongoing on Rt. 137.

Chatham Police said that they expect that the area will be heavily congested and are asking the public to seek alternate routes.
