Chatham Town Manager Jill Goldsmith
CHATHAM – Town Manager Jill Goldsmith passed her annual evaluation by the Board of Selectmen this month by a landslide.
Goldsmith received a perfect 4.0 scores in 23 of the 28 subcategories of the evaluation, with respectable scores of 3.6 and 3.8 in 14 subcategories. The scores put her in the range of Strong Performance.
Goldsmith earned praise from selectmen in board support and relations, as well as financial management.
“Based on this point system, Ms. Goldsmith was awarded a composite score of 3.89. This compares to Ms. Goldsmith’s score of 3.64 from last year, and indicates strong collective praise from the selectmen for her ongoing high performance and excellent managerial skills,” said Selectman Dean Nicastro.
Her performance was evealuated on six general categories relating to management: 1. Personal and Professional; 2. Board Support and Relations; 3. Financial Management; 4. Personnel Management and Organizational Leadership; 5. Community Leadership and Public Relations; 6. Town Operations and Infrastructure.
