Chief Dunne Seeks Participants for Falmouth’s Video-Surveillance Registration Program

FALMOUTH – Falmouth Police Chief Ed Dunne is asking local residents and business owners to take part in the department’s video-surveillance registration program.

The chief appeared before town selectmen last week to explain the program, which asks residents to share their surveillance recordings in the event of an incident in the area.

“We’re not tapping into cameras,” he informed the board, “We are asking if you’re willing to share information if an incident occurs in your neighborhood or business.”

Anyone interested in taking part can do so through the department’s website.
